Dexter Archive

About

As stated on the main page, Dexter Archive is an archiving project with the goal of being the hitchhiker's guide to the Dexter universe.

The project is in a state of early development, and is being worked on by two people, with some help from ancient gods such as Cthulhu, Google and Stack Overflow. So currently it has a lot of rough edges, and missing a lot of features along some infotmation that is too time-consuming to gather at the current state of the project. For example, we are missing some information about the episodes, like the duration and what music tracks were used in the episodes, or a little details like actors and characters involved in the episodes.

The main idea behind the project is to gather, archive and analyze all the information about the Dexter universe and present it in a way that is easy to navigate and understand. With the future implementation of the public API, the project aims to provide a way for other developers to access the information and use it in their own projects.

Crutuial detail is that the project does not aim to be a replacement for existing Dexter-related websites and resources, but rather a complementary resource that provides a different perspective on the Dexter universe and data about it.

We aren't trying to be the next IMDb, Wikipedia, Fandom or Dexter Daily and we are not trying to compete with them nor replace them. We want to be a place that would provide guidence and reveal some hopefully interesting facts that are hidden behind the statistics and data about the Dexter and it's fandom!

The project is open to contributions, and if you have any ideas or suggestions, feel free to reach out to us via available channels stated on contact page
